Media Statement Three more sales over $2 million for Bayside Villas at Keppel Bay Marina. The Capricorn Coast is coming of age with three Bayside Villas sales each over $2 million in three days this week at Keppel Bay Marina following the new Central Queensland record $2.3 million sale achieved last month. The announcement demonstrates again the rapidly maturing nature of the coastal property market on the Capricorn Coast at the gateway to the Keppel Bay Islands.
Gary and Bridgette Ireland, both of world champion water sports fame have recently returned to the Capricorn Coast and purchased villa 14.They had previously lived in villa 5 but sold when they moved to Melbourne on a contract but couldn’t come back quickly enough. “We have lived around the world and simply cannot compare the quality, easy living and lifestyle anywhere with the Bayside Villas. “We’re fortunate to be back living in this perfect place, once you’ve lived it, nothing compares with them.” Gary said. John and Tameka Stephens have also previously bought and sold a Bayside Villa and having returned to the Capricorn Coast are sure this is exactly where they want to be in villa 12. The proof of the pudding is in the return buyers who clearly appreciate their value, superior quality and the waterfront lifestyle. The 390 sq m villas feature a 16-metre multi-hull marina berth, two-car garage, 26 sq m media entertainment room and three bedrooms. They are part of the exclusive current stage of the breakthrough project with only three premium villas priced between $2.09 million and $2.69 million yet to complete construction and sell. Developer, Mr Richard Wilson said the latest prices reaffirm his family’s faith in the Capricorn Coast. “In stage one we sold three in one day but to sell three in three days is a fantastic result. “This region has been a beautiful secret for too long,” he said. Keppel Bay Marina is located on Rosslyn Bay, just minutes south of Yeppoon at the gateway to the Keppel Bay islands. The Keppel Bay Marina project overlooking Great Keppel Island is being undertaken privately by prominent beef industry identities, the Wilson family of Banana Station. The last three villas under construction measure 256 sq m to 270 sq m internally, and 390 sq m to 415 sq m and 515 sq m inclusive of balconies and decks. Of the remaining villas, Villa 13 features the 26 sq m media/home entertainment room and a 16-metre multi-hull marina berth and is priced at $2.09 million. Villa 16 has a 19-metre multi-hull marina berth and is priced at $2.3 million. Villa 17 has a three-car garage, 30 sq m entertainment room, 19-metre multi-hull berth and an extra 100 sq m deck area and is priced at $2.69 million.
